I’m reading Gorky Park by Martin Cruz Smith. The novel is about a detective trying to solve a crime in Russia. It is tense but quite slow moving- not sure what I think about it yet!

I’m reading A Song for Ella Grey. It is a good book but it takes a while to get used to what it is about. It is about two friends who always have sleepovers. They go to a camp and discover a man moving next to them. It’s a bit unsettling.

I’m reading The Kick Off. It’s about a footballer called Jamie Johnson. The bit that I’ve got to is where his team get a penalty and none of his teammates go to take the penalty so Jamie lines up to take it and he thinks “Is the goalkeeper going to save it or am I going to score?”. It’s a good book and I would rate it with 5 stars.

I am reading Billionaire Boy. It is about a 12 year old boy. It is written by David Walliams. I like it because it is quite funny.

I am reading Dork Diaries: Puppy Love. It’s about a girl called Nikki who tries to hide puppies in her bedroom. At school she has a monitor to hear the puppies. People heard them barking in the janitor’s closet. Nikki is trusting her friend Marcy to take care of the dogs in the Principal’s office. It’s funny and it’s written by Rachel Renee Russell. I would rate it 5 stars.
